There are opportunities to play with internationally famous jazz musicians. Currently improvisation sessions ran every Tuesday at the Ventnor Winter Gardens up to the Jazz Festival. We intend to run more classes in 2005 and 2006. You must be 19 or over to attend these, but these are currently full. Phone 85 52 15 for more details. |

There has been a wonderful series of Jazz Courses run at the Quay Arts Centre for a week during Easter. The amazing team of Nick Weldon, Jeff Clyne and Trevor Tomkins, augmented by vocalists, brass players and others, work with classes of all ages and abilities during the day. In the evening jam sessions are held in the cafe area - once we even took over the Wheatsheaf for an evening!
